Capolavori della Fondazione Thyssen-Bornemisza. Da Van Gogh a Klee

From December 12  Fondazione Memmo and Thyssen-Bornemisza Foundation present an exhibition about the Expressionism, inaugurating the Palazzo Ruspoli activities. In the exhibition will be exposed 47 pictures of the most important precursors of the Expressionism – from the late Van Gogh, to Klee, Kandinskij, and others europian masters of the twentieth century. The Foundation, born on the initiative of the art fond Roberto Memmo, is situated in one of the most beautiful buildings of the Roman Renaissence. The entrance is in Via del corso, and the spacious rooms of the building have been equipped with the latest museum technologies. “Expressionism” is the first step of a collaboration with the Foundation Thyssen-Bornemisza, wich in the future will allow to host other important exhibitions. The catalog is published by Electa, while Editalia is preparing a catalog about the history and the art treasures of Palazzo Ruspoli.
